Our Mission Statement
Worker Justice Wisconsin advances justice in our community by building collective worker power together with Faith and Labor allies.
Worker justice is...
Eradicating
harassment, discrimination, and power dynamics between employers and employees.
Affirming & Empowering
all people who challenge practices and systems which deny one’s dignity.
Creating
horizontal, consensus-based environments with shared leadership.
Acknowledging
that systemic racism, sexism, and ideas about citizenship impact the experience of a worker and must be dismantled.
Challenging
constructed ideas of power in the workplace and embracing a spirit of collectivism.
Recognizing
that liberation for oppressed workers requires us to see one another as a part of the same community.
